Introduction	I am horribly addicted to reading, and have been known to forgo the necessities of life to finish a book, or series of books. Apparently to me, reading surpasses eating, drinking and sleeping in order of importance. Thankfully, my husband is very tolerant of my need for this transcendence.
Favorite movies	Die Hard, Underworld, Matrix, Serenity, Narnia, LOTR, and other fantasy; anything with a plot and coherence and character development (which are missing from pop-Hollywood flicks these days)
Favorite music	Bionic Jive, Jack Johnson, Dashboard Confessional, Linkin Park, Imogen Heap, David Bowie, etc.
Favorite books	The Little Prince, The Velveteen Rabbit, The Bible, CS Lewis, James Patterson, Dean Koontz, Ted Dekker, Harry Potter, and other such whimsy

The first time you had your shoes taken off - how surprised were you to see that you still had toes?

I don't remember that; but I'm surprised that I have toes now given the torture devices that pass for shoes
