Introduction Hi, I'm Doug, the father of four daughters. I'm a theologian, literary critic and postman living in Bloomington Indiana, in the middle of the US. I am the author of "Covenant and Community: Our Role as the Image of God" (published by Wipf and Stock. I have taught literature to a class of kids of mixed ages, from sixth through twelfth grade: a whole year of Shakespeare (what a glorious year that was!), American Lit, and World Lit (Homer to twelve year olds!). How I miss teaching! I read extensively in poetry, theology and other versions of literature, but I especially am drawn again and again to the poets. By the way, please feel free to comment on any post, even old ones. I notice all comments, no matter when the post was originally put up.
