Introduction	My experience in the industry has included being a sales rep for an Italian wine distributor to later being a Portfolio Manager, with my focus being on the regions of Spain and California, for a local distribution company. I have also done something that many people in the industry consider their “someday” dream – I opened my own wine shop in Miami’s Upper Eastside. The shop specialized in small production wineries and featured over 200 different selections, all hand-picked by me. I was not only the main buyer but I also conducted the weekly (and quite popular) wine tasting events. Although working in the wine industry has kept me busy, I have made time to continue my studies. I successfully complete the Introductory Sommelier Course given by the Court of Master Sommeliers. In 2007 I became accredited by the Wine and Spirit Educational Fund and Passed with merit. As well as becoming a Certified Specialist of Wine and a Certified Sommelier. My goal… is pairing people with the perfect bottle of wine. My philosophy is that there’s always something new to learn about wine and that wine doesn’t have to be complicated but it should always be fun!!!
