Introduction	Millie Davis directs the National Council of Teachers of English Division of Communications & Affiliate Services. In this role, she directs NCTE's media efforts, working with reporters and NCTE spokespersons, and oversees several NCTE information publications, including InBox, Council-Grams, and the SLATE Newsletter. She leads grassroots advocacy efforts and directs the NCTE Anti-Censorship Program. In addition, Davis works with NCTE’s affiliates, assemblies, and leaders on a number of projects.
