IntroductionLeah Browning is the author of Two Good Ears and Loud Snow, a pair of mini-books of flash fiction published by Silent Station Press; When the Sun Comes Out After Three Days of Rain, a full-length collection of poetry published by Kelsay Books; three nonfiction books for teens and pre-teens published by educational publisher Capstone Press; and six chapbooks of poetry and short fiction. Browning's work has previously appeared in publications including Four Way Review, Harpur Palate, Terrain, Flock, Parhelion Literary Magazine, Necessary Fiction, The Threepenny Review, Valparaiso Fiction Review, Newfound, Belle Ombre, The Petigru Review, The Big Windows Review, The Westchester Review, The Forge Literary Magazine, Queen's Quarterly, Blood Orange Review, Mud Season Review, The Broadkill Review, and White Whale Review, as well as on a broadside from Broadsided Press, on postcards from Poetry Jumps Off the Shelf, and in several anthologies.
