Introduction	Jim Bailey serves as the Educator Relations Manager for D'Addario and company where he responsibilities include educational outreach, partnership development, marketing, and product development among other things. As an educator, Jim has served as director of bands at Doe Creek Middle School (New Palestine, IN) while also directing the high school percussion program, founding Indiana’s first Independent World marching ensemble (I-2 Percussion), and serving as co-caption head for the 7 time DCI World Champion Cavaliers. It is this wide variety of experiences (especially middle school) that Jim believes had helped to firm his educational philosophies and techniques. Jim’s has been a featured clinician for the Percussive Artist Society, Bands of America, Indiana University, Indiana Percussion Association the, and has provided clinics both in the states and abroad.
