Introduction I first had an interest in baseball as a little girl when my dad took me to my step-brother's little league games and then fell in love as a young teen when he took me to my first major league game. At that St. Louis Cardinal's game on the Fourth of July I saw fans of all ages unite over the excitement on the field and then celebrate America with fireworks after the game. I was in love! And no, not with the cute boy from Iowa who sat next to me. I was in love with baseball. I won't go into everything I love about the game because I imagine that will come out in the items I post but I shed a tear the first time I saw Field of Dreams and heard James Earl Jones speak the quote above. I think there are many interesting stories to be shared from all the years baseball has been marking the time and many things we can learn from those stories. I couldn't condense them all to 140 characters in order for me to tweet them so I decided I had to start this blog!
