| Introduction | I have been married for 9 years, he is the man of my dreams and my best friend. I am a mother of 3 of the most rowdy but cutest kids in the whole world. I worry too much and don’t relax enough. I have never done drugs and I don’t drink or smoke. I have ulcers. I am very conventional in that non-conventional way. I love all things retro (not like 70’s retro…that’s stuff is just tacky). I plaster my house with anything teal, aqua or turquoise. I have never dreamed of being a stay at home mom and wife, but yet that is where I have found myself. In the last 10 years I went back to school to finish my A.A. and went straight on for my B.A., I finish this May. My M.A. in Marketing is next! Who knew I would be good as school? I sure didn’t. I feel guilty daily of my dreams for a career, and try to justify it nightly in my prayers with ‘I can provide for the kids and their future.’ I am in the applying for positions now! This is my blog, “From housewife to the Professional life.” Come along with me on this stressful and exciting journey of starting a career and not just being a housewife. I will not promise to be eloquent or have perfect grammar. I do however promise to be myself. |
