IntroductionI became pescatarian when I was 13 because I didn't like the taste of meat anymore, but still enjoyed seafood. At 16 I became interested in veganism, but at first I did not know what I was doing and discouraged myself a few times, not realizing that butter was an animal product. Woops. I finally took the leap and became vegan when I was 17, right before college. As a freshman undergrad in college, I was completely vegan for a year, and raw foodism interested me as well. The following summer I experimented more with raw food, and macrobiotics. Now I'm a fish-eating, sugar-avoiding herbivore. I think that it is important to keep a closer watch on the effects of foods on the body than whether or not it adheres to a vegan/raw/macrobiotic label. I hope you try some of the recipes (if not all =P ) and aspire to fuel your body with real foods, those that will increase your mood, digestion, immune system ability, and overall health.
