| Introduction | Hi there. I'm not a writer. I just enjoy writing. I do not class myself as any sort of film buff. I just enjoy watching films. I decided to start writing about films in august 2010, It saw the expendables in the cinema after nearly 2 years of anticipation, news, tid bits, previews, trailers, making ofs on itunes. And I could not think of any way to express my emotions other than getting it all out on paper, and I really enjoyed the process of writing out that mound of opinions and frustration that could not really be expressed verbally without a super forgiving ear. I carried on and wrote several reviews over the following weeks, not of just recent movies but older movies aswell, and only movies I found myself wanting to write about. I have a very abrupt (amateur) contemporary style. but you know, I read reviews on rotten tomatoes, and I think most people have something interestng to say. I like to think my reviews are more driven by experiences than talking about a film as a newspaper reviwer would. I do not confess to be a fountain of knowledge and I expect any body that views my site will at some point find a huge difference in opinion. |
