Introduction	Jessica Shope discovered her passion for creative writing in elementary school, and she has been writing ever since. She wrote her first novel, Beast, in eighth grade and self-published it in 2012. The Battle was her second, written a few years later for a distant friend. She currently attends Grove City College where she is majoring in English Secondary Education. After graduation, she plans to teach high school English, instilling in her students her own love for the written word. In her “spare time,” she paints set for theater productions at Grove City College and continues to brain-storm ideas for future stories. Jessica spends her summers in her beautiful home of Lancaster County, PA.
