| Introduction | I have lived in Asia for the last 35 years, 10yrs. Japan,2yrs. Bali Indonesia and the last 23yrs. here in Thailand. The reason I settled on Thailand was its birds, all 995 documented species. The infrastructure for reaching these birds is good.The people are very pleasant and it's very easy to get a smile out of a Thai.The cost of living also played a large part in choosing to make Thailand my home, one can live like a Lord on around US$15,000 a year, and long may the exchange rate be favourable |
