| Introduction | Hello, I once came in third in a Nicest Mike in Santa Barbara poll. There was the winner and then everybody else tied for second... Depending on who you speak with, I am either a writer or "definitely not a writer" who loves to touch on sport, film and other personal observations of human nature. I've had an eclectic past that includes social work, teaching in the juvenile justice system, sportswriting and stage production for a film festival. While I have had great experiences interviewing interesting people and giving stage direction to the likes of Clint Eastwood and Martin Scorsese, I have yet to figure out a way to make a comfortable life out of it (any suggestions?). Regardless, this is my blog. Please feel free to comment and maybe start your own blog. As the late Ray Bradbury once told me, "Good job! Now God damnit go out there and write!" |
