Introduction	I am skeptical, analytical, and an independent thinker. I question thoughts, ideas, and theories and, if necessary, challenge the conventional wisdom and the status quo. That, in a nutshell, is why I started this blog: to combat the politically popular but scientifically questionable theory of human-caused global warming. If you're intellectually honest, please read this blog (as well as the associated links) with an open mind before deciding that Al Gore -- a self-promoting politician with an agenda -- was right and that a large number of serious, established, analytical and credible scientists are wrong. Thanks to the political climate, this irrational and scientifically tenuous theory could wind up costing you and me TRILLIONS of dollars to do... what? Perhaps nothing. This is not hyperbole. The cap-and-trade bill before the current congress will cost U.S. taxpayers an estimated $4 TRILLION to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about as much as China puts into the air each time it opens a new coal-fired power plant -- and they're opening about two a week. We can't afford that kind of money for something so utterly unproven.
