Introduction	I graduated from Bibb County High School in 1993 and the University of Montevallo in 1997. I have a BS degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. In 2004, I earned National Board Certification. I have been teaching for fifteen years. This year I will serve as the first/second grade reading specialist and technology coach. I live in Tuscaloosa with my husband, Mark, and two daughters, Katie and Emily. I love to spend time with my family. We enjoy playing board games, camping, traveling to the beach, hanging out by the pool, and an occasional trip to the mountains. I am also a member of Valley View Baptist Church. At Valley View I am on the Children's Ministry Team, teach a 4th grade Bible Study class, and I am the K-2 Director of Kids R.O.C.K. on Sunday nights. I am also a counselor for the Royal Family Kids Camp and a mentor for Royal Friends Club.
