| Introduction | I am a wife, mother, and an elementary school teacher. I am also the daughter of a mentally ill mother. All of this adds up to some pretty interesting stories. I began sharing some of my stories (mostly teacher stories) on Facebook. A few people actually thought they were funny and said I should write a book. I kind of thought they were joking, but then I thought, hey, why not? So I thought I'd attempt a blog first. I figure if I truly aspire to be a writer then I had better start writing. So, with a fresh, new year at hand, I thought I'd do what I tell my students to do when they want to try something new, and that is to "Give it a go!" I plan to share my teaching stories, my "dealing with my mom" stories, as well as random musings from my life as a wife and mother. Enjoy, and I'd love to hear from you! |
