| Introduction | My name is Leona, I'm originally from Manchester and I live in East London with my Hubby Adi. We run our own Fashion Design Consultancy called The Great Work. I love making things, clothes, accessories, rag dolls ..you name it ..I'll have a go at making it! We have an allotment down the road where we grow all our own organic fruit and veg. I love gardening and I also make my own Jams, chutney's and even drinks! I wanted to take a challenge this year to see if I could go a whole year without buying clothes... I found I was getting a bit too much therapy of the retail kind and it wasn't making me feel as good as it's supposed to.... so I thought I'd start a blog and document my journey, the highs and lows , and maybe share some tips on how to get the most out of your wardrobe without having to buy something from the high street. I'll be seeing lots I'd like to wear from the new seasons looks and trying to find a way to Make, do and mend my way to a fabulous wardrobe! |
