| Introduction | I have a PhD in Philosophy (CUNY 2009) and specialize in ethics, philosophy of the emotions, ancient philosophy and 17th-18th century philosophy. This blog is a "filter" blog, in which I mostly repost things on the internet I find interesting. Topics include: sports, politics, humor, current events, data presentation, social media. A note on the subtitle: The idea is that its easy to dismiss other people's problems when you don't put yourself in the same situation. Update: I'm no longer updating my blogger blogs.
