Introduction	Hi everybody, I've set up this blog to keep a record of my fishing here in the south of Ireland. My name is Jason Nash and I've fished the River Bandon since I was 6 years old. Through this blog I will be keeping a diary of my times out fishing on the Bandon and surrounding rivers. My main interest is fishing for salmon and sea trout using all techniques but especially fly fishing in recent years. Recently I have also become more interested in sea fishing, especially lure fishing for bass. I am Environmental Officer and Secretary of Bandon Angling Association. I hold a degree in Zoology and am currently studying a course in Fisheries Management with the Institute of Fisheries Management. Also, I hugely enjoy writing articles for Ireland's leading angling magazine, "Off the Scale", and testing lure fishing equipment for Lure Heaven UK.
