| Introduction | I'm MsMerlina. Friends call me Lou. a widow now, no children. Love children, people of all ages really. Adore animals and my life goal is to help them more - "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." Ghandi (1869-1948)quote. So true. Music, love classic rock Canadian the Band, Neil Young, Brit - Pink Floyd, Led Zep and more, like Latin, world and more. Like art & literature. Education - college, author - first book is e-published. Happiness - optimism, a good attitude, health and love are the most important things to me. Exercise is great, too - the joy of movement & knowing we can physically do things. I don't drink alcohol or do drugs, or smoke - that's over! Non meat/poultry for many many years. Appreciate all life including mine. I now dedicate my life to art and animal rights. |

Love swimming & all to do with water. Travel, foreign cultures. People are great. Stars & constellations - astronomy. Astrology is a main theme for a long time. Not a matter of believing, it's just there! - the Tarot - Modern 52 card deck is nature based. I study ancient beliefs. Love movies and good music. |
| Favorite Movies | Film noir - Barbara Stanwyck is my idol. Double Indemnity, Baby Face, Stella Dallas. The classics. Modern movies - Godfather series, Lord of the Rings, Twilight is actually brilliant...some comedies. Beautiful brilliant movies, not ugly mean movies. |
| Favorite Music | Lots, classic Canadian - the Band, Neil Young, all the British classic bands plus musicians' work after, American classic, Bob Dylan, Santana, Latin, Elvis and the list goes on from there. Recently I like Hawaiian slack key guitar songs. Best music is nature outdoor sounds - birds, waves, breeze in trees. |
