Introduction Ming-Jane Chuang had been a director and professor of Graduate School of Curriculum and Instruction at National Taipei University of Education and MinDao University. She earned her PhD with a specialization in curriculum studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She had served as Taiwan’s National Curriculum Grade 1-9 Curriculum Guideline committee councilors (2002-2012) and former councilor in the Gender Equity of Education of Ministry of Education(1998-2005). She has been a general editor of the Taiwanese Journal of Curriculum Studies,Transnational Curriculum Inquiry (The Journal of the International Association for the Advancement of Curriculum Studies), and Journal of Educational Research. She has appointed chief for the revision of the Taiwan’s Grade 1-9 Curriculum National Curriculum Guideline for seven critical issues and has honorly nominated as Professor of Curriculum (POC) in AERA since 2008.
Interests My research interests focus on the following areas: Curriculum Research Methodology, Postmodern Theories of Curriculum, Internationalization of Curriculum Studies, Multicultural Curriculum Studies, Curriculum Policy Studies Cultural Studies and Curriculum.
