Introduction Graduated Corcoran School of Art before it became a college. Worked as a full time painter for 6 years, before entering the theater as a full-time stage hand. For 10 years I worked as a stage manager, stage hand, properties manager, producer and director on productions with Gala Hispanic Theater, The New Arts Theater, the Sanctuary Theater, the Kennedy Center Opera House and Programs for Children and Youth, the National Theater, New Playwrights Theater, Horizon Feminist Theater, Dance Place, the Pola Nirenska Dance Company, the Primary Movers Performance Company and Anacostia Repertory Company. I am a retired member of Sophie's Parlor Feminist Radio Collective on WPFW 89.3 Pacifica radio in DC. Currently, I manager the community education program of a bilingual learning center in the Columbia Heights neighborhood. My creative work consists primarily of photography and short story writing.
