About me

Introduction	Together, we are a couple who are from quite opposite backgrounds. Thus, the name represents the two of us and our dichotomies, while at the same time representing the intellectual characteristics in which we seek that unite us. So a little bit about us. Profane, a female, was raised in a West Coast city and comes from an ethnically and religiously diverse family and community...though predominately Jewish. Clarity, on the other hand, was raised in the country on the West Coast in a white Protestant family. Together, we have children and even grandchildren. Our broader family combined, is inter-racial/ethnic and inter-ethnic/religious. Our interests and concerns permeate virtually anything that is social in nature. We are not so much concerned with take-for-granted answers for the taken-for-granted obvious, as we are on an un-relentless serious questioning of the often taken-for-granted obvious.
