| Introduction | Carla is a Certified Project Management Consultant and Software Engineer with a BS in Computer Science, and Associate Degrees in Electronic Technology and Technical Management. She has also carried out graduate work in Software Engineering at University of Houston and served as a Technical Reviewer for the ReviewNet Corporation, an internet-based provider of pre-employment testing for IT personnel. Chapter author of two books: Encyclopedia of Energy Engineering & Technology' and 'Case Studies and Applications of Web Based Energy Information and Control Systems.' Featured in the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) magazine, Maintenance Technology, and Code Magazine. A long time advocate for bringing more young woman into the sciences, she appeared on Fox News 26 as a guest expert on the subject of "Gender Bias". Carla is the Past President of Society of Woman Engineers (Houston). |
