| Introduction | Empowering India compiles the information of all the electoral candidates to help citizens make informed choices when they vote and make the electoral representatives accountable. To make this initiative successful, we need your involvement in various areas: to help collect information about candidates/elected representatives, translate affidavit data, build a network of active citizens who want to participate in the democratic process, and disseminate this information on the grassroots level. Also, most importantly, we value your views and ideas which will help us achieve our aim to empower Indians to play an active part in the democracy. |
