| Introduction | Tammie explores the tender moments of life in graphite, and her love of nature in oil & acrylic. Born in Kansas City, this local Missouri artist has won acclaim for her portrait and landscape work. She has attained numerous awards in regional shows, One and Two Person Exhibitions, and juried competitions. An avid plein air painter, she participates in many annual events, winning the top award at the Katy Trail Paint-out of 2010, in Defiance, MO. Best of Show was awarded in May 2012 for the plein air painting, “Through the Rose Garden”. She is a juried member of Summit Art League, serving as Jury Committee Chair; Tri-County Art League, serving as President; charter member of Missouri Valley Impressionist Society, member of the Harrisonville Fine Arts Association and various other organizations. Artwork shown at the GOT Art Gallery in Lee’s Summit, MO, Summit Art Gallery at St. Luke’s Hospital East and other rotating locations. She participates in many juried art shows stateside. |
