| Introduction | Hello! I'm Kari and I am a 28 year old mother of 4 boys. I grew up in the Sacramento area of California but moved to Utah when I was 17. I am a DONA trained Birth Doula and the Utah County Board representative for the Utah Doula's Association. My passion for birth is rooted in my knowledge that birth is a natural, normal process and that the female body is truly an amazing creation. My aspiration as a doula is to empower my clients with knowledge and faith in their bodies ability to birth their babies. I also strive to help you find exactly what you want from your birth and dedicate all of my energy to making "your ideal birth" become a reality. |
| Interests | I love to sing, dance in the rain, walk, hike, go on bike rides with my children, volunteer at the school... to be continued! |
| Favorite movies | I love comedies, especially stupid humor! ;o) I also love docudramas! |
| Favorite music | I listen primarily to country but do enjoy classical, instrumental, broadway musicals, rock etc... not a big fan of rap or really heavy metal! |
| Favorite books | I loved The Life of Pi, The Sex Lives of Cannibals (promise it has nothing to do with it's title) A Piece of Cake. I am starting to become more interested in the literature and less in the story! |
