Introduction	D. Soars considers himself an expert in 19th century ceremonial footwear and has watched television in over 55 languages. He is the owner of a rather small, uninhabitable island off the coast of Wales, handed down to him from his maternal great-grandfather, alas he has yet to visit the place. He did not work for several distinguished financial institutions on both sides of the Atlantic during the 80s and 90s, but still takes a regular interest in current events and opinions.
