| Introduction | I've been a chef, wine steward, a credit union lender, construction partner; I drove a cab in Boulder and a 54-seat bus into the Denali backcountry, travelled in Europe as a young man and Canada, Mexico and the U.S. as an adult, and lived in 8 states and 3 countries in the past 20 years. I'm open-water certified in scuba and - even though it's not current at the moment - hold a private pilot license. A life-long Unitarian Universalist, I'm also deeply involved in Native American ceremony and beliefs and love both Spirit-paths. I began writing haiku and tanka verse about 8 months ago. I'd love to have a collection published! |
| Interests | creative writing, hiking and walking, cooking, enjoying time with my wife, sitting with my cats, reading almost anything (from Newsweek/Time to Utne Reader). |
| Favorite movies | Field of Dreams, Martian Child, Dances With Wolves, and others I can't even remember at this time...more later. |
| Favorite music | Very eclectic: I have CDs of almost every variety of music, and the 12-CD player in our car takes us all over the map -- literally and musically |
When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?
No, never. I'm a certified diver, so most often have a facemask on underwater anyway. But even if my mask floods, my eyes are waterproof!
