Introduction	My name is Sheila Knips and my passion and love of wildlife comes from having lived a lot of my life in Africa. I use mainly pastel pencils to give me the fine control needed for painting wildlife. This brings out the real texture of the fur. Most of my animal pictures are created from my own photographs plus artistic licence as animals never sit still long enough! I have always wanted to show my wildlife pictures to as many people as possible,especially to people who have never had the opportunity to visit the exotic animals in the wild. I also want to gradually show you how I started with my art and about my life in Africa and other countries. I hope to update this site once a week, hopefully you will enjoy it. Now that I have retired to Cyprus with my husband Klaus I have time to enhance my skills and I am now trying to paint in acrylics! Watch this space...
