| Introduction | Who is Grainne? I am a wife, mother, teacher, sometimes researcher, and lover of most things related to the fiber arts. I have been a member of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) for over 16 years and tend to focus my historical research to the time period of 800 - 1100AD England...although I have been known to wander into other areas and time periods if something strikes my fancy. I originally created this blog to document by experiments with learning to weave on a warp weighted loom - hence the name. I have since realized that I needed a venue to talk about the other fiber arts that I create and have expanded it to all fiber arts. |
