| Introduction | I'm a 30-something professional, and I spend a lot of time working, volunteering, traveling, hiking, and hanging out with friends. I live with my two cats and try to find time for myself, but it doesn’t always happen. I'm starting this blog as a response to everyone who has ever said, "Gee, I am really impressed that you cook for yourself, but I just don't have the time/the patience/knowledge/innate ability/instincts/a fashionable enough apron/fancy enough cookware to cook every day!" You don't have to have loads of free time, tons of money, or a chef's kitchen to prepare most of your meals yourself. All you need is a well-stocked pantry, a couple of hours a week, a few basic tools and some ideas to start with. |
