| Introduction | My Work: I speak to two different schools of thought: Function and Sculpture, the visually pleasing and the useful. Occasionally I channel a fierce battle, a clay clash, and create things that are attractively useful. I delve into the female form from a first person perspective. I focus on details that plague all 20th century women. Veins, Lumps, Bumps, Stretch marks, Skid marks, Moles and Wrinkles. I embrace the irregularity and humanity of the functional form. While throwing on the wheel, you will see proof of my efforts and anatomy: fingerprints in my wheel rings, rims that slightly wobble and my name candidly scratched on the bottom. My Story: Ohio native, first generation college graduate with undergrad and graduate degrees in Art Education with a focus in Ceramics. I created my etsy shop as an alternative approach to income outside the horrific status of arts education. When you look or use my work, you're utterly aware and connected with the person and process that brought them to your lips or your eyes: A high speed clay clash. |

When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?
Put my pinkie in, and shake like mad-- till you get that odd slurpie sound vibrating in your head.
