Introduction Evan is the Artistic Director of Idle Muse Theatre Company, where he most recently directed The Monument by Colleen Wagner. In addition, he served as director for Idle Muse’s productions of The Lion in Winter and Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure (both Jeff-Recommended). He was also the co-adaptor and director of What the Weird Sisters Saw. Previous Idle Muse directing credits include Bloody Poetry, Proof, and the company’s inaugural production of The Ceremony of Innocence. Other projects include The Last Judgment, The Potato Chip Eaters, and Off the Grid as a participant in the Martin de Maat New Works Festival at Boxer Rebellion Theatre, and two summers serving as Assistant Director for Shakespeare on the Green in Lake Forest. Evan is a graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University, where he received his MFA in Directing and directed William Gibson’s Burning Chrome and The Diary of Anne Frank.
