| Introduction | Christian, mom of 6 grown kids; Retired USAF, prev. missionary teacher in Liberia. I wasn't raised knowing about God but at 11 years old hiding in the top of a tree, I knew I needed "Whoever you are," and I called out for help, and strength to survive my life. God soon brought a "Christ is the Answer" tent revival to where we lived in Texas. I heard of Jesus Christ and how He loved me so much He died to pay for my sin and then God raised Him from the dead so that I could also be with Him when my time came. We were baptized at a local church and they were gone. But God has always been with me. I've been through many extreme life situations and varying levels of commitment and clarity, but never doubted God's presence, Christ's faithfulness, acceptance and love. God's love never fails... Now at a very new place in my life I'm heading out to learn things I always wanted to but didn't have anyone to learn from or means or confidence. Hmm, 54, that's really "... better late than never" lol! Nowdays, the world is a very "interesting" place, without Christ it would most certainly be downright scarey - but God is faithful, the world is not... I'm still excited about the future! |
