| Introduction | It would be easy to describe myself using words like Runner, Biker, Snowboarder, Exercise Physiologist or Personal Trainer. Even Wife, Mother, Daughter and Running Partner could slip comfortably into my bio. All those would be true, but that would ignore why I choose to create this blog. I am a Grieving Mother. On October 9th, 2010 I lost my oldest son, Brandon. He was 21 and just starting the best years of his life. This blog is an effort to share this journey, provide support for others grieving loss and be cathartic. Ultimately to show that the pieces of a broken heart can be pieced together into expansion joints proving there is always something to live for. |
