Introduction	We are the High Desert Christian Writers, an informal group of local wordsmiths who meet monthly for fellowship, education, and encouragement. If you live in the area, or are just passing through, we invite you to join us. While we share a faith in the risen Lord, not all of us write strictly for the religious market. We write novels, magazine articles, humor, childrens books, and just about everything else. And oh yes, a couple of us actually write about theology and church history. If you like, you can bring up to five double-spaced pages of something you've written. We will have someone read it aloud before the group, and offer helpful hints to make it the best it can be. Come and join us at 10:00 am on the second Tuesday of each month at 43545 51st St. West in Quartz Hill, California. We meet until noon, and then go out to lunch at a local eatery.
