| Introduction | I'm a puzzling mix of the sacred and the profane (even to myself) ... an irreverant Rev. who takes himself too seriously and wants more than anything to approach life totally undefended, emotionally and spiritually. I am a man who has found my life's calling and in so doing have thrown myself into THE most humbling experiences of my life. I have a new appreciation for the accounts of St Anthony in the desert being tempted by the "evil one". When you're all alone in a cave either you believe that an evil force outside of you ACTUALLY materializes into human form to tempt you with your worst nightmares or ... something inside of you rises up to bring you face to face with your own demons. I'm here to attest that the latter is most certainly the truth. So now what ... do just what Anthony did ... stick it out after all how much longer can it last. OK, Lemme see, I'm ... now and I could live to ... OK so it could last another 30 years! so what ... It's not as if I have anything else to do. |
