About me

Introduction As a fifth generation Tucsonian, I have grown up surrounded by the majestic beauty and inspirational colors of the Sonoran Desert which have had a direct influence on my art. My Mexican heritage is demonstrated by the vivid, bright and emotional colors of my work. In pursuit of my passion for art, I traveled to San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico and studied oil painting at the Instituto de Bellas Artes for two years. My art has been said to give people a warm and peaceful feeling; brightening the walls with life and color. I consider my art to be very childlike in its simplicity and innocence, coming straight from the heart.
