IntroductionDrew looked at me, he was concerned as to why I was eating chocolate peanut butter bars for breakfast, but was nonetheless kind of intrigued; I looked at him & loved the dimples, we hit it off; I pretended to be low-maintenance; I hinted, then nagged & cried a little; we finally got married, and here we are! I'm truly thankful...I love my husband dearly, and my 2 little mini-Drews as well...thanks, Taylor Swift, for helping me come up with a title for my blog!! :)
InterestsRunning, college football!!, reading Bama Online, pilates, crossword puzzles, baking things I don't need to be eating, more than one glass of wine, travel, nutrition, playing sports with Andrew, daydreaming about Andrew being a sports star, feeding baby Jack lots of vegetables :), helping others through the jr. league, eating at fun restaurants with Drew; also, it is my dream to go to NY Fashion Week!! Fashion is art- so I do not feel that I am shallow to cite this as an interest. I am also fascinated by makeup and skincare. To balance out these last two interests, I would like to mention my interest in politics & the upcoming presidential election. Also, love to watch golf for some reason (second only to college football).
Favorite moviesI always laugh at "Dumb & Dumber"...embarrassing!! We don't really watch that many movies, for some reason. I like sweet, happy movies, though, like When Harry Met Sally, Notting Hill, or Sleepless in Seattle...and as far as TV, LOVE The Office, LOVE Lost & 24, and also unfortunately watch The Hills, American Idol, etc.
Favorite musicIf I'm running, I like "energetic" music such as Paramore, Linkin Park, Garbage, Metro Station...I also love Coldplay, Led Zepplin, sometimes Avril Lavigne...and sorry, but I do like Justin Timberlake & Fergie. :( They are cheerful and just pleasant for jogs on the treadmill. How could "Fergalicious" not put a skip in your step!?
Favorite booksMy favorite MAGAZINES are InStyle and Shape. I also like to buy RealSimple and read the organization tips, roll my eyes, then throw it in the recyling bin. Unfortunately that is at times the extent of my reading...although I do like the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency series by Alexander McCall Smith. I also loved some of Francine Rivers' books, and found them to be very encouraging. Of course C.S. Lewis has been a favorite for years & years...I loved Marley & Me (sweet book about a very naughty lab!), The China Study (very good- about the well-documented health benefits of eating a primarily plant-based diet)....
