(N.B. A cephalopodiatrist is someone who studies cephalopods--squids, octopuses, cuttlefish, and nautilus. My friends coined the term in the late nineties, though it may well have independent origins. It fills a terminology vacuum: a teuthologist studies just squid, while a malacologist studies all molluscs.)
