| Introduction | I am a teacher, editor, and henna artist with a diverse range of interests. I am currently working on two books. The first is based on my observations during my teaching experiences in a range of districts, and details suggestions for overall improvement in the attitudes of students, staff, and administrators within a school district. This book is called “Substitute Year,” and can be read in part on my blog of the same name. The other book is on a variety of stress reduction techniques, in an attempt to make them beneficial for anyone. My goal is to create an accessible how-to book that will give information on a wide range of techniques for use in daily life. It is called “Soothing the Monkey Mind,” and some of the information therein can be found on my blog of the same name. I also work as an editor/proofreader and as a henna artist in the summer. I blog about experiences in these fields as well. My proofreading blog is called For God’s Sake, Proofread! and my henna blog is titled Ancient Arts Henna.
