| Introduction | I'm currently living in the potato capital of America. I married my hubby, Tyler, in 2003. We have a little girl named Lucy who was born in 2008. We came to Boise because Ty accepted a faculty position at Boise State University. He teaches in their kinesiology dept. I am a nurse and currently work one day a week at a local hospital in their medical imaging dept. I prep, sedate and recover all different types of patients for a variety of tests. MRI’s, CT scans, Nuc med studies, special procedures, ultrasounds, and x-ray studies are the main things we do. I've been a nurse for 10 years- my how time flies, and I love it. My favorite patients are the little tots. Kids just melt my heart. When I'm not at work, I get to do my favorite job which is play mom. This mom thing has been the best thing to ever happen to me. As much as I love being a nurse, I love being a mom 100 times more. Sure there are hard tedious days and sleepless nights, but the depth of love and joy it brings cannot be compared to anything! |
