Introduction	I got my BA from Boston College and married the woman of my dreams a week after graduation; we've been married for 40 wonderful years. I grew up with pine trees in my backyard; now I have banana trees. Nonetheless, my first love is quaint, beautiful, historic New England. You can still find little pockets of it hidden from development, but I just close my eyes and it's always there.
Interests	my wife, my children, my grandchildren, my bottles, my trade cards, my other stuff, our home, and our cat Booger
Favorite movies	National Treasure (the first one), Raiders of the Lost Ark (all of them), and Cuthroat Island. And I have to admit that Julie & Julia was inspirational for the creation of this blog!
Favorite music	InsideOut (acapella), The Hutchinson Family Singers, Spanish Classical Guitar, Classical music, Civil War music, and some of the current Country music.
Favorite books	The Book of Mormon, the Bible, MY book (if it ever gets done), and a zillion other books - mainly 19th century medical and social histories.
