| Introduction | Born into the depths of lawless East Germany in 1982 and involuntarily expatriated in 1984 I have since lived an exciting and restless existence that has led me from the pastures and manure of Upper Bavaria to the beautifuls hills of Scotland via seven years in Portugal and a brief stopover in France. Having (successfully!!) survived five years of student ife in Maryhill/Glasgow I finally succumbed to working life as a Scottish trainee solicitor in Edinburgh in September 2006 and things took off from there... Almost two years later and by now having a more or less permanent abode in consumerism-ruled London I have come to realise that I have probably sold my soul to the devil (for a very good price though). Having re-discovered my German roots earlier this year and to keep work related alienation at bay I have decided to share some of my illuminated insights about corporate dominance and all that other stuff with the (German speaking?) rest of the world. |
