| Introduction | Hi, I am an undocumented high school student in California, but I am Korean (not too common). I am a rising senior and am preparing for the college application process. However, due to my immigration status, I have found many difficulties that I must surmount. I had to search for an overwhelming amount of information and because there is no one around me in my particular situation and because my parents cannot speak English well and are disconnected from society, I am mostly on my own. I would like to provide any information that I find that is helpful for me and may be helpful for other students in my situation. And because I am going through the process now, I will be finding the newest and most relevant information. I would also like to connect with others who are similar to me and share information and stories and support each other in our journeys. |
