| Introduction | I'm a dad with a lot on his mind and time on his hands (pretty filthy, eh?). I couldn't decide which topic to blog first, so I chose the one I spend the most time with - fatherhood. While many pursue such projects at a time of their impending demise, as yet I expect to live to the end of the Mayan calendar, or whenever God sees fit to recall me. I need practice with this medium, and I wanted to contribute something to posterity in the process. Some people find it easy to talk about the critically important things in life. Others don't. What you'll read here are things I've already talked to my kids about at some point, and with indexing, I hope to save myself from having to repeat myself (what? You don’t remember? Look it up on the blog – it’s right there exactly like I told you). If you are ever at a loss for words or perspective, I hope you find some wisdom or inspiration here. In life, always know what your modifiers are, or your life story will be just a jumble of words. |
