| Introduction | I have been married to my best friend for over 14 yrs to One of the Few and the Proud a United States Marine. I have been given the privilege to train up 7 amazing children ages 20, 18, 11, 11, 8, and 6 to follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I also have an amazing God Son named Gabriel who spends a great deal of time with us everyday. Finally, Multiple Sclerosis, I used to HATE these words the Lord has tested my will, he has tested my faith, and I no longer hate MS. I embrace the gift the Lord has given me to live each day with appreciation of sight, sound, breath, and mobility. I cherish the days that I can run and jump and play freely with my children. I take NOTHING for granted. I also cherish the days when I must be still and listen, and watch, and snuggle on the couch and talk because my body is doing exactly what the Lord needs me to be doing. It is this trust and understanding that greets each day. The Lord walks beside me…sometimes holding me up…sometimes pushing me forward. |
| Interests | I love nature and outdoors. I spend a lot of time in my garden, my flower beds, and walking through the woods. I feel so close to the Lord when I have my hands in the soil he created. During the winter months...because it gets crazy cold in Minnesota...I enjoy sewing, embroidery, and quilting. My creations reflect my faith and most of them are donated to charities. I am very active in our church and I also volunteer at our local food pantry and nursing home. All of these things come a very distant second to my four beautiful children and amazing husband. Caring for my husband and my home is a God given privelege and I am so thankful for the gift. My children are an extention of myself. I have been given the opportunity to love them, train them in the Lord's Word, and educate them as they grow into adulthood. |
| Favorite movies | Not much time for movies, usually children's movies or what ever the Hubby is watching. Most of the movies watched in our house are on the History Channel, Biography Channel, or the Classics. HGTV & TLC The Hallmark Channel, The History Channel, Bio. Channel, Classic TV |
| Favorite music | I like Christian Traditional, Gospel, and Christian Contempory music as well as some Country. I also enjoy Classical music. |
| Favorite books | Beverly Lewis and other Christian fiction and the Classics The King James Bible |
