| Introduction | I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder with psychotic features at age 19. The first step was denial for four long and painful years. As a result, I was in and out of mental hospitals. But was I accepted my mental illness my life began to change in a beautiful way. I went to college, earned three scholarships and now I am working for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health as a Medical Case Worker. I feel my purpose in life is to send of message of hope and survival for those living with mental illness. I feel my destiny is to uplift and inspire and demonstrate that there is hope for wellness and mental health recovery. |
| Interests | My spirituality is very important, church, prayer, my emotional support dog Gypsy Blue and meditation. I love writing, blogging. I'm happily married and I think my dog is my baby boy. I loved spending time with my family, friends, public speaking on mental health recovery,advocating and sending a message of hope and srvival for those living with mental illnesses. |
