Introduction	First off, let me say that the Valley referenced above is not one of the wonderful wine producing valleys in California. Rather it references the Rio Grande Valley, which is home to myself and my better half. Both of us are wine enthusiasts and we're starting this blog to record our different wine and food pairings and experiences. Secondly, yes we're aware the proper term for wine lover is "oenophile," but vinophile (while made up) works better with the RGV. This blog will focus on the wine and food pairings we try, where to buy wine here in the Valley, who to talk to, and occasionally where to go for a great wine tasting. Cheers!
